Meet Your Next Realtor, Andrew Miller

I have been in the Real Estate Industry since 2006, working as a Sales Representative with RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Group‎.

I moved to Ottawa for school in 1999, but I’ve lived close to Ottawa, just east of the city my whole life.  Growing up, most of my working career was spent on farms where I developed a very strong work ethic, and a pride of doing honest and good work for others.

Prior to my career in Real Estate I obtained a degree in Business at Algonquin College where I graduated in 2002.  Shortly after I was employed with The Department of National Defence, in the office of the Judge Advocate General. There I developed a working budget for the Department of Law Training, as well as assist in putting together training manuals and other booklets.  I know right, it sounds so exhilarating! Unfortunately I wasn’t too interested in a Military career, nor a legal career, and decided that the 9-5 daily grind was not for me.

During my college years and for many years after, I worked as a server/bartender in a family restaurant(even while at National Defence). There I developed some exceptional people skills. Growing accustomed to working evenings and weekends, having a degree in Business a love for working with people, and having a LOT of contacts already in the industry, led me to the decision to become a licensed Realtor.
